Besides background and photo, you can now also add a header in your Twitter profile page.
To do so, you can go to your Twitter "Profile" setting page, and upload an image (up to 5MB, recommended dimensions of 1252 px * 626 px) from your computer.
And if you don't have an image for the header, you can check out the following 10 websites to pick up one instead:
1. Twitrcovers
Twitrcovers has more than 600 images in Animals, Nature, Photos and some other categories.
Moving the cursor over any image, you can preview how your Twitter header will look like. And clicking on the image, you can set it as your Twitter header (cover) and/or background automatically.
There won't be any brand badge added into the header.
On the FreeTwitterHeaders.com site, there are about 300 images sorted by 12 categories, you can download and upload any one as your Twitter header manually.
All the images will be 1252 px * 626 px, and without brand badges.
There are about 200 images sorted in 15 categories on the Twitter-header-photo website.
You can download any image as a 520 px * 260 px JPG file and upload it to your Twitter account as the header, without any badge.
On the Twitterheaders website, you can filter over 150 images by featured, popular, latest or tags, clicking on any image, you can download it as a JPG file in 640 px * 320 px size and upload it as your Twitter header, without any brand badge.
5. Twitcover
Twitcover has over 500 images sorted in 21 categories, clicking on any image, you can use it as your Twitter header and even profile picture if you like.
There will be a "twitcover.com" badge in the right bottom of every image.
6. Twitheaders
On the Twitheaders website, there are over 900 images, which are sorted by Abstract, Games, Love and some other categories. Clicking on the "Download Twitter Header" button above any image, you can use it as your Twitter header automatically.
When the Twitter header is changed successfully, Twitheaders will post the following message on your timeline:

And there will be a "twitheader" badge in the right bottom of your header.
7. Twitterheader.org
Twitterheader.org offers over 200 images, which you can filter by tags, download any of them as a 520 px * 260 px JPG file, and upload it to your Twitter profile for the header.
There will be a "twitterheader.org" badge in the left top of the header.
Twitterheaders.co.uk offers hundreds of images, which you can filtered by date, popular or title, by colours, models, singers or some other categories, or by searching for any keywords.
For every image, you can click it to preview the header effect, to download it as a 690 px * 345 px JPG file, or to use it as your Twitter header automatically.
There will be a "twitter.co.uk" badge in the right bottom of the header.
FreeTwitterHeaders.net offers over 300 images, which you can sort by categories, tags, or search, and you can also submit your own ones.
Clicking on any image, you can preview the header result, download it as a 1252 px * 626 px JPG file, and upload it as your Twitter headers manually, there won't be any badge in the header.
10. Twheader
Twheader has over 1,000 images sorted in Animals, Funny, Love and some other categories, right-clicking on any image, you can download it as a JPG file in 520 px * 260 px size.
There will be a "TWheader.com" badge in the right top corner of the header.
Among the above 10 websites, the first 4 won't add any brand badge into your Twitter header, Twitheaders, Twitrcovers, Twitcover and Twitterheaders.co.uk are available for you to choose an image and automatically use it as your Twitter header, without downloading.
